About Me.
Austin, Texas Psychiatrist & Psychoanalyst
Hello, I am a psychiatrist in Austin, Texas. I completed my BA at Barnard College of Columbia University, medical school at East Tennessee State University, and residency at the University of Virginia. I worked as an inpatient psychiatrist at a state hospital before beginning my private practice in Austin,Texas over 25 years ago. After starting a family, I entered training at the Center for Psychoanalytic Studies in Houston and became a psychoanalyst. My passion and nonprofit work is consistently focused on educating and training others in the field.

I have called Austin home since 1996 and have raised my family here. In my free time I enjoy painting, traveling, walking trails in Austin, baking, and spending time with my family. I have a dog named Lacy and a cat named Evelyn who both make guest appearances on virtual appointments.
